Season of Giving: How to Support Tulsa-Area Nonprofits This Holiday Season
There is no time like the holidays to help others in need
Is your family interested in helping those in need throughout the Tulsa community? Many of these organizations need year-round assistance, but the need is even greater during the holiday months. Find a charity and/or organization in Tulsa that your family can donate items, time or money this holiday season in our list of places to give in Tulsa:
Assistance League® Tulsa
For nearly 50 years, Assistance League® Tulsa (ALT) has helped students throughout our community arrive at school prepared to learn through our flagship philanthropic program, Operation School Bell® (OSB). Through our OSB programs, we provide essential items – new clothing, shoes, personal care products and more – to economically at-risk children at 138 school sites in 13 public school districts across Tulsa County. In support of education initiatives, we also fund literacy, fine arts and scholarship opportunities.
A volunteer-driven organization, ALT is funded through private grants, community donations and our Bargains Thrift Store. Support for ALT directly impacts students in our community.
